Chapter 38- Be Our Guest!

 "Well.... Here we are..."

 "It looks pretty nice..."

"Just wait till you meet the guy" Atlas joked.

Chasity rolled her eyes.

 "Guess... I'll go knock..."

 Leefah shakily knocked on the glass.

 "Hel.... Hello?"

 "Do you think he's home?"

"I looked up his public work schedule on the way here, he should be"

 Leefah looked at the window, "Maybe I can sneak through?"

 "I like the sound of that" Chasity joked.

"It'll sound more like alarms and sirens" Atlas snapped back.

"I still can feel the pig that was thrown on top of me in that freezer" CHAD added.

 "Oh great, they're going in that house my love" Tophet told Joker.

"Rats! Follow them my dear!!" Joker commanded.

"We'll watch from here" Ezra joked.

 Leefah pushed at the door and it creaked open.

Leefah gulped.

 "Be careful!" cheered Chasity.

 Leefah entered a room where an old woman stood.

 "Uh.... Hello..." Leefah said awkwardly and looked back.

 Leefah's eyes widened when  all of her friends suddenly surrounded her and stared at the woman.

The woman stood silent, but a weird crunching noise filled the room.

 "Hello?! Is this the right address? We're looking for Javan Crocus." Leefah asked

 The crunching noise got louder.

"Is she.... Is she real?" Leefah wondered.

"What if she's a ghost!" Chasity screamed.

"I thought only ghosts could be visible to those that knew them" Atlas asked.

 "Then... She must be alive..."

There was another loud crunch and white bits fell from her body.

 "OH GOD.... SHE'S..... SHE's..... SHE'S EATING BONE!!"

There was another loud crunch.

 "Oh my, I just love this apple!" said the woman happily.

 "Oh thank god, it's an apple everyone! It's an apple!" Leefah said, calming everyone.

"That was a close one" Chasity said, sighing with releif.

 The woman took her last bite and tossed the apple core.

 She burped and looked around.

 "oh?" she exclaimed when she saw the group.

 "Hello there" Leefah said.

 "Oh hello there too, I'm sorry I didn't hear you come in"

 "Well, She's super old then" Chasity muttered.

"Hi ma'am, we're looking for a Javan Crocus" Atlas asked.

 "Right, You all must be some of his invites"

 "Wow, I'm glad this is the right house"

"Please, can we see him?" Chasity asked.

"If not, that's fine, we'll leave" Atlas suggested.

 "Hush your mouth boy! You're in the Crocus house now" she commandrf.

 Atlas looked at her funny, "Excuse me?"

 She blinked, "Is something wrong dear?"

 "Uh.... No... I guess not..." Atlas looked at her.

"So, Is Javan available to meet or not?" Chasity asked excitedly.

 "Right this way, By the way, I'm Mrs. Nyx his housekeeper"

 The group looked at her and followed her hesitantly.

 Mrs. Nyx entered a room.

"Javan, they are here to see you"

Javan nodded, "Good, I was hoping they'd come"

 Leefah entered first and looked around.

 Mrs. Nyx sat in the back and munched on another apple.

 CHAD entered second. "Wow, what a cool room!"

 Atlas' eyes widened and he pushed through CHAD and ran to the couch.

 "Good, I got a seat"

"I'd hate to sit in the back" Atlas said.

"Ahem young man! Did you say something!" Mrs. Nyx asked.

 Leefah looked at Javan, "Hello!"

 "Yes, Hello" Javan said nicely.

 "WHY DID YOU PUSH ME YOU JERK!  I WANNA SIT ON THE COUCH!"

 "Relax, there's a seat"

 Chasity looked in and squealed.

 She pushed past CHAD and ran to the couch.

 Chasity poked out her butt at Javan and looked away.

 "Hello... Javan..."

 "Did you really just take my seat...."

Chasity looked at him , "You had your chance, go sit in the back"

 CHAD rolled his eyes.

 "Did you really just do that, I can already tell what's going to happen and it makes me sick"

 "I'm a reporter!" Leefah said, trying to make conversation innocently.

 "Oh.... Cool..." Javan said chuckling.

 Chasity sat down and blushed.

 Atlas sniffed the air, "Did... Did you just fart?"

 "She does that when she gets nervous"

 "I feel so bad for whoever we meet.... ever"

 Tophet hovered off the ground from her umbrella.

 "Okay, they've all entered some room with a black guy, my love" Tophet told her earring.

 Chasity flipped her hair, "Hey Javan.. long... long time no see"

 "Hello Chasity, nice to meet you again after so long. How are you?" Javan asked smoothly.

 Chasity snorted awkwardly, "I'm fine.... I'm fine..."

"Please don't... Just don't..." Atlas muttered.

 "QUIET BOY!" Mrs. Nyx snapped.

"So.... Where are all your other guests?"

 "Surely you invited others right?"

Javan looked over, "Of course. Most live in or near Midnight Hollow so I don't invite them for a stay"

"We're so... so.... honored...."

 "Gag... me...... my love...."

 "It seems one of you is not... is there something wrong Atlas?"

 "Nope... Nope... Nothing..."

 "I guess the man knows her demon butler, perhaps their old acquaintances?" asked Tophet.

 "I do feel awful about that one day Chasity... really..."

 "Oh.... No... We both overreacted..."

 "What's happening now?" Joker asked through Tophet's earring.

 "They're busy chatting, but it's sad my love... she clearly is in love with him"

 "And might I ask who you brought along?"

 "My new master and her new maid, Leefah and CHAD" Atlas answered for Chasity.

 Leefah waved innocently, "Hi again!"

 "Atlas? I can answer..... I brought SOME of my friends..." she said, pointing at Atlas and then shaking her head no.

 Javan closed his eyes momentarily.

"I can't remember the last time I'd had a true friend to hang out with...."

 "But I do hope I can hang out with someone to be.... more..... than friends" Javan said smoothly.

 "Well he's a sweet talker my love! You should get a notepad" Tophet ordered.

 Chasity's eyes widened with hope. "Ahhh.... Ahaha....." she started to freak out nervously.

 Atlas glared at him angrily.

 Chasity slowly slid forward.

 "Well... I'm here...."

 Javan slid forward.

 "What luck...."

 Chasity stood up.

 Javan stood as well.

 "I always thought... we were just friends now..."

 "Well....."

 "Or is it that....."

 Chasity blushed again.

 Chasity could feel her heart beating faster and faster.

 "Is it that what?"

 "Oh my god... Oh my god my love..."

"WHAT? WHAT IS IT?! DID THE GIRL DIE!" Joker asked.

 "No... it's worse.... My love...."

 "I'm telling you not to Chasity..." Atlas worried.

"Aww! Don't spoil her fun Atlas!" Leefah told him.

 "Is it that....."

 Chasity's eyes sparkled.

 "I was wrong?"

 Chasity was surprised.... only by a little bit, from the kiss.

 Tophet glared at them making out, "I swear my love, you need to take tips because I want to stab him in his freaking smooth talking, hot face my love!" Tophet screamed.

 Chasity kept her surprised face on for Javan.

 "I.... I....."

 "REJECT HIM!" Atlas screamed.

"TAKE HIS SHIRT OFF!" Leefah screamed.

 "You what?"

 "............"

"I couldn't agree more"

Chasity leaned in and made out with him intensely.

 "Ugh.... get a room" Atlas muttered.

"They... are.... adorable" Leefah said, nudging Atlas.

 "I... I don't wanna turn away.."

 "Javan?..Javan?.." Mrs. Nyx tried for Javan's attention.

Tophet was amazed at how long they had been kissing.

"Talk dirty to meh" Chasity muttered grossly.

"Oh my god just stop" Atlas said about to barf.

Chasity backed away  and fixed her hair, "Well... Hello...."

"Hello..."

Chasity turned, "Um... Why don't you give me a tour"

"That sounds good"

"Alright guys, he's gonna show me the ropes"

"That means two things" Leefah said.

"Don't ever.... say that again..."

"I hope you'll all join us for dinner." Javan said, bidding farewell.

"Oh cool! What is there to do until then?"

Atlas angrily watched them leave.

"I'd say you hangout with Mrs. Nyx Leefah, you two have something in common"

"........ What now?"

"Mrs. Nyx?" Atlas asked.
CHAD looked around, "How about some TV?"

"What did you want boy?"

Tophet rolled her eyes.

She turned and elegantly lowered herself to the ground.

"Okay, I'm done"

"All this did for me was make me jealous"

"I swear my love needs to take notes."

"Oh right! Girl in the hat?"

Leefah looked over, "Yes ma'am?"

"Come with me, Javan suggested we bond"

"Wait.. so can she hear or not?"

"I think... I.... I'm not sure...."

"Oh great... So if you both leave then what do I do?"

Leefah opened her mouth to speak but stopped and looked up.

There was a large thumping noise coming from the roof.

"Ignore that, Come outside dear"

"Are they really..."

Mrs. Nyx interrupted her, "Come now!"

Atlas and CHAD looked up.
"Please don't make us sit here and listen..." Atlas asked.

"I... I don't know how to respond..."

"Outside now! MOVE GIRL MOVE!"

Leefah was scared, "Err, Yes ma'am!"

Atlas starred at the roof as the thumping got louder.

"Maybe they have a really playful cat?"

"It isn't a cat"

Leefah quickly shuffled down the stairs and out into the yard.

Mrs. Nyx slowly followed her.

Leefah turned and looked at her. "Um, so.... What are we doing?"

"Take out your wand dear"

Leefah turned at the sound of a twig snapping.

She shook her head and looked back, "What was that?"

"You're wand? Take it out"

Tophet watched from behind a corner.

"Uh... Why?....."

"Because dear...."

"YOU MUST PRACTICE! NOW TAKE IT OUT!!"

Leefah backed up, "Uh.... what do you mean practice?"

"YOU ARE NOT THE WITCH YOU CAN BE! NOW TAKE IT OUT, HURRY UP NOW!!!"

Mrs. Nyx began waving her wand around.

"Awww yeah!! Let's do it!"

"Wait... so are you like... my teacher now?"

"JUST DO IT!!"

"GROW YOUR MAGIC POWER!!"

Leefah was scared and confused at the same time but took her wand out hesitantly.

"Uh..... RIGHT!! I'LL GROW MY POWER!"

"YES GIRL!!"

"LET THE MAGIC FILL YOUR SOUL!!"

"AAHHHH OKAY MA'AM!! I WILL!!"

"The evil...."

The winds blew through the forest that the triplets rested in.

"The evil still roams Midnight Hollow..."

"Look at her go, she just might get better at magic than you are" Ezra joked.

"Pssh... That girl is no match for me"

Behind them, someone walked and then stopped

They breathed heavily behind their mask and looked at Ezra and Joker.

They then turned and left, heading for the town.
