Chapter 31- Rising Hope

TIMING IS EVERYTHING

 "It's all over!"

 "Chasity this is it!"

Chasity shut her eyes.

ROB-E released the blast of electricity at the girls.

 Suddenly the sky twinkled  and someone shot down towards the ground, slamming before the girls.

"Sorry I'm late ladies..."

Atlas divided the bolts with his sword's blade.

"I got caught up at town hall"

 ROB-E released his electricity.

 "So, You came for them after all..."

"Part of my duties of being her servant"

 "I know my contract with her ended long ago...."

 Atlas lowered his sword

 "But that doesn't mean I still don't have a duty to protect her in the future to keep the past alive"

 "How sweet, But I won't just stand by and not follow orders"

 Both Chasity and Leefah stumbled to their feet.

 "You came!...." Chasity yelled.

"Where's Emit?" asked Leefah.

 "He said to leave him at town hall. He's busy with ARTI"

 "So you left an old man like him to deal with ARTI? He's even stronger than me!"

 Atlas raised his sword. "He said he'd deal with him, so I'll take his word on that"

 "Wow Atlas... You're so much different than the guy I know"

 "I've been by your side till your bitter end, I don't intend to ruin the past"

 ROB-E began charging his hands, "Doesn't mean that you'll take me down"

Atlas began to swing his sword.

 "Save the crap, I've been waiting to chop your head off since that day back at city hall!"

 "Talk about a grudge holder..." Chasity mumbled.

 Atlas jumped at almost a lightning speed and penetrated ROB-E's arm.

 "Holy crap, It went trough..." Atlas yelled surprised.

 "Wait! Stop!! I... I can help you!"

 "Bull crap, this is done!"

 "Atlas!" Leefah yelled.

Chasity shot her hand out, "Stop, let him do this"

 "No! No! The people! They are still alive!"

 "What?... What do you mean..." Leefah asked.

 "Leefah let me handle him!"

 "No Atlas, I wanna hear this..."

 Chasity lowered her arm. "I don't see how it will hurt..."

 Atlas gritted his teeth. "Ugh.... Fine..."

 "Okay ROB-E, tell us how they are still alive..."

 "My.. my soul absorption device..."

 "What about it?"

 ROB-E shakily lowered his arms. "If you penetrate the orb, then you can return the souls back out to the world, and to their bodies."

 "Wait..."

 "So you mean to tell us..."

 "Everyone you've killed is alive?!"

 ROB-E cowered back, "Pretty much..."

 "Alright Atlas, hit the orb"

  "WHAT!"

 "Well we need to see if it works..."

 "And your orb is in perfect condition for destruction"

 Atlas' sword gleamed.

 Slowly, he sliced the orbs around it's side, releasing the glowing red light from it.

"Are those the souls?..."

 The light lifted up into the sky and exploded, sending little meteors across the sky.

They all looked at ROB-E's orb, now a whitish color.

 "I'm... I'm not dead... I suddenly don't feel so angry either..."

 "ROB-E, how long has your orb been red like that?..."

"About a month...."

 "When did you start exhibiting attitudes of violence like you just were..."

"About a month as well... When the boss put the orb in..."

"Is it possible the orb is associated with your violence?...."

 "Well... It's certainly possible...."

 "We need to let the others know how to deal with ARTI if,  we destroy his orb then we can defeat him!"

 "I'm on it, I'll text CHAD and let him know we are on our way back now"

 "What will you do now ROB-E?..."

 "I... I could never face the boss.... I... I betrayed him..."

 "Then come with us... Help us defeat him..."

 "Perhaps Suzette and Emit will let what you've done go..."

 "You mean... Help... People..."

 "State your name!"

 Dorah/Althea blinked.

 She raised her arms and began to hover over towards them.

 Suzette raised her gun, "Stop right there!!"

 She ignored her and continued towards CHAD

"Hold on Miss Suzette..."

Suzette slowly lowered her gun.

Dorah/Althea looked at CHAD up and down.

"Dorah? Is it you?..."

She shot her head back...

"Object confirmed as, Cleaning Home Android Device.... C.H.A.D."

"Yes.. I'm CHAD...."

She blinked. "CHAD...... CHAD...."

"Don't you know me?..." CHAD asked worriedly.

Her eyes zoomed in and out, then her head twitched.

"Ch...Chad?..... CHAD!"

"Well what do you know, she's back!"

"Dorah!"

They both jumped into each others arms and hugged.

"Oh CHAD! I'm glad you're okay!"

"Now now Dorah, No Public Displays"

"Oh.. Right... I'm sorry ma'am.." Dorah said saluting.

Suzette clenched at being called ma'am.

"Just call me Suzette now Dorah..."

"Oh... Okay... Suzette..."

Suddenly, Suzette wrapped her arms around Dorah and hugged her.

"I thought public displays of affection were not allowed?...."

"I think I can make an acception.."

"Mind if you don't wave that gun around?...."

Suddenly, an explosion occurred above the base.

Dorah's glared above, "That' ARTI...." she said angrily.

"So then, you ready to finish this?"

"Oh yes!" Dorah said almost evil and laughed in a deeper tone.

"Hold on... Althea? Is that you in there too?"

"Why do you say that's Althea?"

"MWAH HA HA! Yes! It's me!.... Only this stupid girl is stuck in her as well..." Althea replied.
"Hey! I'm not stupid!" Dorah yelled back.

"Well.. I can fix that later... I was meaning to upgrade you anyways Dorah.."

"Right now we need to deal with ARTI..."

"Can you help us deal with ARTI Althea? If you do, I'll make you your own body and transfer you over?"

"My own... Body?...." Althea questioned.
"Just do it!" screamed Dorah annoyed.
"Alright fine, Just let me do the fighting you little pipsqueak!" Althea yelled at Dorah.

"Great, let's get going!" Suzette instructed, and led the plumbots towards ARTI.

"Not the face!!!" Emit yelled timidly.

ARTI shot his arm out...

Sending electricity towards Emit, only to have the plating of the gun reflect it back.

"Wow... rude much! I said not the face!!"

ARTI's hand fazed out of electricity.

"Listen ARTI, you can stop this now! It doesn't have to be this way! We can give you more rights!!"

"Yes it does have to be this way!"

".... and it isn't about the rights..."

"What... What do you mean..."

"This world!!... I want it to be mine! All mine!!"

Suddenly, ARTI received a notification and scoffed angrily.

"ROB-E.... Althea.... both have be defeated..."

"Looks like you are truly all alone now.."

ARTI clenched his fist. "My own squad..."

"Wasn't strong enough..."

"ARTI.... It's time to stop this.."

"I'm sure if I speak to the police about this misunderstanding they will let it go..."

"No.... I won't go back from this... I'll finish it myself...."

"I'm sure they are around her somewhere"

"Hold on, is that..."

"Oh good, there you guys are!" Suzette called out.
"We managed to get Dorah out safely!" CHAD called out happily.

"So... Why are you still dressed like me..." Leefah asked.

"Duh, Cuz I'm so cute"

"Its like looking in a carnival mirror..." Chasity muttered.

"So where's ARTI.."

"We have a bone to pick with him!" Dorah yelled.
"Technically you have a bone to pick, I'm just here for the fight" Althea butted in.

"We heard an explosion so I assume they are fighting somewhere close"

'It says here that he's just on the other side of the building"

"And in case you haven't noticed.." Leefah began.
"ROB-E has joined our side" Chasity finished.

"We learned how to free everyone that's been murdered so we don't need to worry"

ARTI lowered his head, "I was prepared for this... I knew it would happen..."

"There they are!!"

"Emit! Get away!!" Suzette shouted.

"Emit we're back!!" shouted Leefah.

"What's happening!" CHAD yelled.

"Leefah Stay back... I know what I'm doing..."

"Emit stop this! Get away! ARTI I command you to stop at once!" Suzette ordered.

"You are no longer my master!" he shouted.

"Why is he doing this!" shouted CHAD.
"Please... Stop screaming in my ear CHAD" Atlas replied annoyed.

ARTI quickly shot out his hands and grabbed EMIT.

He begun to be lifted off the ground.

"Oh dear... Looks like this is happening..."

"Are we really just gonna sit here!!" Suzette yelled.
"Someone do something!" CHAD asked.

"Emit?...."

"I'm sorry Leefah, I know you can beat him... Please just know I'm dying here out of love..." Emit said.

"Yeah yeah save it. I'm done with you"

Leefah shut her eyes at the sight of Emit getting his neck snapped.

"Oh my god..." Chasity stuttered.

"Master Emit!!" Dorah shouted.
"Stop!" Althea commanded, stopping Dorah from moving.

"He... He killed Master Emit..." ROB-E said surprised.

"Oh my god... Oh my god...." Suzette tried to keep from crying.

ARTI began to lower Emit's body.

"It had to be done... There is still much much more left for me do..."

Suzette looked up at ARTI. "Just know this ARTI...."

"Stop Suzette..."

"Look...."

Emit's body began to fade to an orangish color.

He looked around.

ARTI tapped his centerpiece. "Soul Absorption Level 3 commencing"

"Good job ARTI... you killed me..." Emit said.

Everyone looked at him in shock.

"Don't worry everyone.... I'll be fine..." Emit said trying to calm them all down.

"You got to far in the way Master.."

"Stop talking ARTI...."

"Oh my god..." Dorah said holding her hands together.
"Yeah he died! So what!" Althea muttered.

"What did you just say to me..."

Everyone began to run over.

"You may think you have won this..." Emit began.

"I have won this!"

His friends began to crowd around him.

"You may think that all the people in the world will eventually bow down to you..." Emit continued.

"But just know...."

'It's his grave stone..."

Emit's body slowly faded into a whitish-gray.

"That all these people will kill you"

"..........."

Emit's body suddenly was sucked into ARTI's Soul Absorber.

"........."

"So....."

"........"

"......"

".........."

"You're so dead..."

Leefah took out her wand.

"This is for Emit!" Suzette shouted, pulling the trigger to her gun.

"I call upon the fae!!!" Chasity screamed, gathering immense Aura energy.

"Elemental Surge!"

Atlas jumped up and swung his sword.

All the attacks collided in the center as ARTI dissolved into sparks.

Leefah lowered her wand.
"Did we get him?..."

"It's too hard to tell.."

"Is it possible our attack destroyed him entirely?"

"Well.. What's done is done.."

"So what now?" they all asked.

"Perhaps... It's time we head home..."

"Back to your present time?"

"But we can't go..."

"I'm afraid the rest of us will be staying in our time"

"It's sad you guys will be leaving though..."

"Time flies I guess..."

ROB-E lowered his head.
"ARTI......" he muttered.

"They pushed me to this..."

"At least the ship is open"

"Well Oasis Landing"

"It's time"

"The final countdown shall commence"
