Chapter 27- Brand New World

TIMING IS EVERYTHING

The sun began to set over the mansion at the top of a hill, in Dragon Valley.

"Miss Belle, please bring me my tea...." asked an older man in his Forties.

"Yes sir...."

"Anything else?"

"No.... " he answered without emotion.

The woman had a glare on her face and grudgingly placed the tea on a platter.

"Sir you should eat" she called out.

"No thank you, I will eat some other time"

She hurriedly walked through the house to his room.

She stopped and placed the tea on his table.

The man slowly sipped his tea and chuckled.

The girl looked over, "Master Pierre.... Is something wrong..."

"No... Just that it's almost me and my wife's anniversary....."

Belle scratched her arm awkwardly, not knowing how to respond.

The man leaned in, "She's dead Belle... My wife is dead"

"I know sir...."

Belle turned and exited the room.

The man looked out the window at the setting sun.

"My wife...."

"Dear Gweneth..."

The man tightened his grip.

"I promise I will return you to me..."

Atlas looked at the girls, still in each others arms.

CHAD lowered his head.

"Dorah...... Left......" he said shakily, before drooping his head once again.

Suzette sat against the wall, having learned of Older Chasity's death.

"She's...... She's gone...."

Atlas looked at the girls, "We need to go.... The ship can wait...."

"I'm getting a transmission... Leefah has been added to the hitlist as a top priority...."

Chasity looked at her in shock. "No... No I refuse to loose you too..."

"Stop crying...."

Chasity looked up, "I don't wanna loose another person... Watching myself die is enough.."

"I want you too stop now... Please pull yourself together. Instead of crying, let's do something...."

Suzette exited the ship, "Then let's go back to the house..."

"I know its an obvious move and the enemy might be there, but ARTI was hit to the point that his repairs will take at least twelve hours... we have already wasted six just crying....."

Leefah looked at Suzette, "Are you sure..."

Suzette wiped her tears.

"Yes, There we can warn Emit and make a plan"

CHAD looked down and began moving toward Suzette.

"Then it's set..."

"Are you ready to go Chasity?"

"Fine....."

They all gathered outside the portal.

"So ladies come with me..."

"Boys, you go and talk to Emit... Have a little.... Uh.... Bro talk?"

"Why don't I get to talk to Emit??"

"Because I said so!" Suzette yelled.
CHAD looked at the town tearfully as Suzette and Leefah argued over Emit.

"Calm down ladies, I'll go talk to Emit... Come on CHAD"

"Say Hi to Emit for me!!"

"Yeah whatever" Atlas replied, slamming the door.

"Alright, what do we do now...."

"To my room, We need to change your outfits, that'll buy us some time..."

"Ohhh MISS SUZETTE!! MISS SUZETTE!! You returned!!!" shouted the little fluff ball. It retreated into it's core and teleported into Suzette's room.

"Oh, Hello Helen... you look a lot more pink than usual"

"Got a make-over" she replied all peppy.

"Good, you can help them with their sense of future style..."

"Oh okay, I'd be happy to help!!"

"Good, Leefah and Chasity, say hi to Helen. She's our A.I. of the house"

"Hello" they both answered.

"Pleasure to meet you, Who should I help first?"

Chasity immediately walked to the bed and sat down with Suzette.

"I guess me..."

Leefah pulled out the shelf and began changing.

"Well... Turn around and let's see" yelled Suzette.

"Just don't laugh...."

"Oh Sweetie, we would never...."

"Uh......" Helen moaned.

Leefah turned around and looked at them with a straight face.

"Dear god...."

"I've seen worse... Maybe you could loose the eye make-up"

"I analyzed your preferences and saw your favorite color was pink."

Leefah finished wiping off the eye make-up. "Better?"

"A lot"

"Oh okay Missy, let's see you do better"

"Yay! More make-overs!" Helen shouted excitedly.

Chasity stood up and walked over. "Hope you get something good" Suzette encouraged.

Chasity slowly pulled out the shelf and began changing.

She looked at herself in the window, "I feel really provocative..."

"Let us see then"

Chasity turned herself around, "Well?......"

"Well.... You look cuter than me... and like a lime threw up on you..." Leefah replied.

"Her favorite color was green so...."

"Well it was a little overboard!" she replied, "AND I FEEL LIKE EVERYONE IS STARING AT MY CHEST" she yelled, covering her breasts.

"You've dressed in worse and you know it" Leefah said.

"Seriously.... Well I have even worse outfits if she wants"

"NO THANK YOU!" Chasity interrupted.

"Well let's go show Atlas and the others" Leefah suggested.

"So what do we do now?"

"I dunno, We can blend in a little better..."

"Any smart person would know that we are not from here..." Chasity replied, looking around.

"Well it's possible people aren't smart here. I haven't seen a single school"

Chasity and Leefah looked over at Atlas.

"Okay.... What.... The hell..."

"Wha....Whats this..." CHAD asked unsure of what they were doing.

"We are futuristic" they answered together.

"You are just insulting us..." CHAD answered laughing.

"I hope you have a reason why you two are dressed like idiots"

"I think we look pretty" Leefah answered.

"You don't like how we look?" she yelled, grabbing Atlas' shirt.

"WE'RE PRETTY!!!" yelled Leefah.

Chasity let go and walked back beside Leefah.
"Okay, well we have plan"

"Really?... I hope we don't have to go out in public..." Leefah said embarrassed.

"What's the plan?"

"We are splitting up...."

Leefah gasped, "Oh... Hey Emit..."

Chasity tssked, "So you're the Emit I have heard so much about...."

"Yes yes, honor to meet all my lovely fans"

"She isn't your fan... Trust me"

The girls stood there awkwardly.
"Why are you dressed like that...." Emit asked.

"We are futuristic" they answered together.

"I honestly have no idea where they thought people dressed like that"

"What's the plan"

"Let's wait for miss Suzette.."

"Right here Emit my darling!"

The boys looked at her in shock.

"How do I look?" Suzette asked.

Chasity and Leefah began whispering to each other.

"She's dressed like me..."

"It's like looking in a carnival mirror"

"I can hear you..."

"Actually this should work for the better" Emit answered.

"How exactly?" asked Leefah and Chasity, still terrified of Suzette.

"Because I'm smart like Emit, plus I'm packing heat so you should be scared"

"We'll be using Suzette to buy us time... She's gonna pose as Leefah"

"That sounds really smart and all, But her arm doesn't have Leefah's mark..."

They all looked at her arm.

"So that's the only flaw? Well nobody's perfect"

"Thank god...." Leefah muttered.

"Well that's where CHAD will come into play.."
Everyone looked at CHAD.

"Huh...... ME??"
