(Season 2 Premiere) Chapter 9- While You Were Gone

Souls aren't toys, they're currency.

"Hi there.... Oh sorry.... You probably are wondering who's speaking right now... It's Leefah"
*Blushes*
"So Um... I already told you how I met Chasity and ended up in the grasps of Atlas?... hmm.... Where does the story go from there?....."
*taps head*
"Hold on..... I think I know.... OH RIGHT!! Let's start from a week after all that. That seems like a good place to Begin.. Again... Ha, see what I did there?"
*Smiles and blushes*

One Week After Chapter 8!

"Hello Atlas... Might I ask where you are currently headed?"  Leefah asked while flipping on the television.
"I'm picking up your work clothes... Then I shall prepare dinner." Atlas answered through a sinister smile.
 Chasity glares are him.
"Did everything stay well at the house?" Leefah asked, paying no attention to Chasity's anger problems.
"Why... yes madame..." Atlas said rolling his eyes.
"Do we really have to assosiate with someone like... him..." Chasity whispers.
Leefah looked for the news channel. "Of course, he's our new friend after all".
Chasity looks at her, disturbed with her choice of words.
"I feel honored of you to think of me as your friend" Atlas said.
"Um well guess what demon boy, You ain't my friend" Chasity said trying to pick a fight.
"And never will be... you... you... you..." Chasity began.
"I am glad you decided to make a conversation with me....."
"But I'm afraid I'll have to stop you there, I really don't care." Atlas said, shutting her down.
"And still no news on those children that have gone missing...." The new reporter announced, beginning the next segment.
"Madame Leefah, remind me to give you something when I come back downstairs." Atlas said.
"Also, think about what you would enjoy for your evening meal."
"Okay, Thank you sir Atlas" Leefah answered politely.
"You aren't a princes... frankly you should be mean to him. He will devour your soul you realize..." Chasity said as he walked past.
"I know being mean to people only makes them hate me more, and I don't have many friends so I like to be nice to the ones I do have" Leefah said, tuning out the news.
"I will have you know Madame Leefah..." Atlas began.
"Have me know what?..." Leefah asked curiously.
"If you believe friendship will stop me from feasting on your soul... then you are wrong"
"Excuse me, I must finish my last chore before your dinner preparation." Atlas finished.
"Okay take care sir Atlas" Leefah said, unhurt by Atlas's harsh words.
 "Wow, evil much?!" yelled Chasity.
'I'm a demon, Evil is in my blood.... or should I say was..." Atlas said, walking into the upstairs room"

"Oh let him be... He'll be more social with us... even if I have to order him..." Leefah said happily.

"I guess I should show you the house... After the money I received Which was money left by Chasity's parents to never open the basement.... oh my... well it's water under the bridge now... Anyways I used all the money I got to renovate the house and make it more... homelike?...."

"Chasity said that I was allowed to buy these cute lamps as it was my house and it was the only thing I was allowed to buy to decorate.... but I love them anyways!!"
*giggles*
"Also... Atlas insisted he teach me Piano as a way for me to act more... 'Proper'...."
"Alright, I have finished putting away your dirty clothes and will wash them tomorrow." Atlas said, perking up as he walked downstairs.
Leefah waved, trying to be nice.
"If you are taking requests... I'd love your heart... on a silver platter..." Chasity said, clawing into the couch.
"Oooh... steak sounds nice..." Leefah said agreeing with her.
"How cute.. a fairy threatening a demon... Wherever did you get to be so bold?" he asked, teasing her.
"Oh so we are dining healthy?"
"Then how about we eat some of my fresh crops.. the ones you let that stupid stray cat into and  let it eat all my blueberries!" she yelled.
 "I already told you..."
"I just love cats so much... They share my hatred for flies like you" Atlas countered.
"Oh go jump in a sunbeam" she shouted.
"I'm afraid those are vampires, As a supernatural creature... I would have thought you'd understand that." Atlas taunted again.
"Now now... Play nice" Leefah asked.
"Oh, and you said there was something you needed to give me?" Leefah said, as she was told to remind him.
"Yes, I received a letter from your boss. Now that you are a Freelance Writer for the newspaper, he'll be sending in topics for you to write about." Atlas replied.
"Was that all that was included in the letter?"
 "Well... that and...."
 "And?..."
"Well... if I must be honest... The topic will more than likely put you in danger.... He wants you to write about the missing children..."
"IT'S SO TRAGIC!! A TRAGEDY I TELL YOU!!" yelled the reporter, beginning to cry.
"Such a shame... I was really hoping to write about the kids... But if it'll put me in danger..." Leefah began.
"Oh C'mon... don't give me that..." Chasity said.
"Part of your contract is that he isn't allowed to let you die. So why not let loose?" Chasity suggested.
"Are you sure?...  I wouldn't want him to get hurt... Or you...." Leefah replied worriedly.
"I can take care of myself..."
"I did hide from a demon after all... didn't I?" Chasity bragged.
"Well.. I guess... Is it alright with you if I pursue this case, Atlas?" she asked.
"If it'll truly make you happy, then I cannot stop you..." he answered.
"Ugh... Typical man reply..." she muttered.
"Well... I guess I should get to writing tomorrow... It'll be Saturday, perfect time to go out questioning...." Leefah said.
 "That's mah girl" Chasity replied.
"Actually... I've been thinking that I need some new clothes..." she said to Chasity.
"Ooooh, I knew there was a girl mind deep deep deep deep deep down that was waiting to come out into the light" Chasity joked.
"How about the two of you go shopping tomorrow, Give me some peace and quiet to do housework..." he suggested.
"Wow... Nice offer...." Chasity replied back.
"That's nice of you Atlas, thank you." Leefa said to Atlas.
"So... where should we go?" Leefah asked Chasity.
 "Hmm...." she thought to herself.
"I think a new mall just opened up down the street and it's been pretty popular?"
"Sounds great, we can ask some of the people there if they know anything... you know... 'dig up some dirt' as they say?"
The girls stopped and looked at the TV.
"Remember, if you find anything, make sure to let the police know.... We've just received news another child has gone missing...." The news anchor says before bursting into tears once again.
"Why are they taking these kids...." she muttered.
"I'm  warning you Leefah.... This case is dangerous... Are you sure you can handle it?..." Atlas said, finishing the food.
"I'm positive.... I will find those children, I bet my soul on it."

  •   To this point in the taking pictures process, Leefah has yet to reach level 5 in any skills, while both Chasity and Atlas have reached Level 5 in Cooking for Atlas and Gardening for Chasity
  •  Though it says a week has passed in the story, only about two days had actually passed in the  game.

  • Atlas seems to know that the case is dangerous beforehand, although it isn't clear as he may just be concerned for not watching over her while she works.
  •  The entire chapter has Atlas glowing with the "Flight of Felicity" moodlet
