Begin Again : Chapter 8 - Dirty Little Secret Part 2

A long time ago, I didn't know what to do. As soon as I turned 18, I was forced from my house and ran. I didn't know how to start a family. All I knew, is I had to Begin Again...

"OMG... I have to sneeze... One sec... OMG.... Totes gotta sneeze!"

"Is this really the time..."

"Oh god.... This is the girl you befriended?"

Leefah stood up straight, "AHH, I can't sneeze! It's like agony!" suddenly she sneezes snot all over the floor. "Better.."

"Oh man... Some of it splashed onto the case... It's so gross!!"

"Sooo..... Who are you?"

"UH!.... I swear all you do Chasity is befriend idiots... My name is Atlas Tartarus, I'm known as a Demonic Reaper."

"A what?.... What the heck is that?"

"A demonic reaper is half demon, half grim reaper. As a demon, I take care of wounded souls that have nothing left to live for, I give them their ultimate goal in life... and in return I can eat their soul. But fear not young girl, I come for your friend Chasity."

"Get away from me you vile monster! I did nothing for you to want to hunt me down!"

"True... but your family did, and it's your fault they were one of my finest meals ever."

'What is he talking about..."

Chasity hesitated.

"You won't tell her?"

"Tell me what Chasity?..."

Chasity held back tears from streaming down her face.

"Fine... I will.. Your friend Chasity Spirit had a wonderful family. Her parents made contracts with me to live their life to their eldest age. What they didn't say is they were fairies... fairies without their wings. When their lovely daughter Chasity, however, turned 18... she sprouted the most beautiful wings a fairy could ever want. Of course, I was ticked to find out I had been spending a whole year serving a family of fairies who would take centuries to die, I couldn't allow that... Only her parents sacrificed themselves to save her, even hiding her... too bad her spirit escaped from her body..."

Chasity banged on the glass with her hand, tearing up at the thought of her parent's deaths.

"She wasn't abandoned?...."

"Nope... in fact.... her body is right there...." Atlast began.

"Inside of a shield, impenetrable by a Demonic Reaper such as myself. She can't have any food because you found her soul, which just so happened to wander out without my knowledge, so I had to hunt her down... only to find the new owner of her house had taken her in. " Atlas revealed.

"Tsk tsk though..."

"How did you track me down.."

"Souls can only travel so far from their bodies.... I'm amazed to think you thought a human could protect you though."

"Now... you going to be a good girl and unlock your body? I promise I'll take good care of it as I rip into your bones."

"I'll never open it! You are a murderer!"

"Oh my gosh.... she's been living under my house the whole time and never told me..."

"I.... I couldn't...... How could I tell you something like that...."

"So you moved right on in and did all you could to keep the basement closed... "

"Only you failed..... Pity... You know they say the name Chasity means pure... only the most impure of people send their parents to their deaths"

"STOP IT!"

"Looks like I struck a chord of your human friend... Let's take a time out."

Leefah wiped a tear from her eye.

"What do you want? I have urgent business to attend to."

"Please leave her alone."

"You really think someone like you... Leefah Kagyura... can just ask... me to... 'Please Leave her alone'?!?!"

"Look, I'll open up her locked spot for you. Just let me talk to her."

"Wow... Giving up your ONLY friend to a Demonic Reaper right off the bat?"

"Do you want me to talk to her or not?"

"Very well..."

"I'll give you five minutes"

"Then her soul is mine"

"What's going on up there?"

"Got it sweetie?"

"Actually... I won't talk to her..."

"Talk to me about what..."

"I know how to settle this..."

"You'll make a contract with me"

"Then you'll be free to do as you wish with her soul..."

"Wow... Betraying your little gal pal? The one who actually did care about you?"

"How badly do you want this contract..."

"But... I need to make sure that this is truly what you want..."

"There are new standards off making them after her parent's betrayal."

"Very well..."

"Stop this Leefah! All this'll do is end in heartbreak!"

"Alright... Let's see what your soul as in store for me..."

Leefah lost her breath for a moment and her head tilted back.

"Hmmm... favorite color is typical... been a loser AND unlucky all her life, but is also friendly and good... she wants her life to be good, but it just isn't.... her father kicked her out and her mother is dead.... I see.... OH MY GOD!.... OH GOD..... OH THAT IS AWFUL! WHY IS THAT THERE! MAKE IT STOP!!"

Leefah was released from the trance

Atlas tried to breath calmly.

"What.... What's wrong?"

"It was... It was... Perfect..." Atlas said, smiling wickedly, "I will accept your contract."

"I kinda wanna know what you saw... I heard you gagging and it concerns me very much..."

"What have you done... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!"

"Relax Chasity, I got this.."

"Do you now?"

"I keep my promises..."

"You can do that all you want..."

"I will then.."

"So hop to it"

"If I'm going to complete my contract, I need to keep to a strict schedule"

"Just..."

"Just what?"

"Leefah this guy is evil! Don't do it! He'll just take my soul!"

Leefah smiles and says in her mind, "I promise he won't take your soul... I never break my promises"

Leefah turned around and placed her hand on the covering of Chasity's protector, bonding herself to Chasity's body.

The shield began to fade as Chasity's soul began dimming.

Chasity's soul's body began to dissolve and little sparkles fluttered though the air, and into Chasity's physical body.

Chasity looked up at Leefah.

Atlas glared at her, "Just wait till this stupid contract is done..." he said in his mind.

"So this is..... The real you..."

"Yup... In the flesh..."

"Only my fashion sense is much better than this"

"Mom and Dad always hated my fashion sense..." Chasity said pulling down her pants and revealing a pair of short shorts.

"Much better..."

"I can't believe what you are doing...." whispered to Leefah.

"Alright ladies, tea party's over. I'm oh so hungry and would very much like my dessert."

Chasity glared at Atlas.

"Now... Are you ready for the blood offering?"

"What's that..."

"He'll absorb your blood with his teeth, that way he can always know where you are. Like a tracking device/sonar."

"He won't suck it out of my neck like a vampire will he?"

"No... He can take it from your arm."

"Blood Oaths from someones arms are better chances of not catching a terrible disease"

"If you are trying to say she has and STD then you can thin again, I'm pretty sure she's a virgin..."

"So what if I am..." Leefah said embarrassed. She shook off her sadness and walked over to Atlas.

Chasity clutched her fists.

"Okay... So... I'm ready..."

"It's not gonna hurt is it?"

"Not at bit..."

"Oh... Good"

Leefah held out her arm.

"Actually..."

"It'll hurt a whole lot!" screamed Atlast.

"Leefah!" Chasity screamed running out for her.

Atlast dug his teeth into Leefah's arm and absorbed her blood into his teeth.

Leefah screamed in agony as she lost blood.

"What have I done...." Chasity said with tears now streaming from her eyes.

Leefah looked around dizzily, "Is... Is it over?"

Atlast wiped the blood from his mouth.

"Yup, the oath is done, what is your all time goal?"

"I wish..."

"I wish....."

"Spit it out dear" Atlas said showing his teeth.

Chasity suddenly stood up as Leefah whispered something into her mind.

Atlas stood back, getting ready to finish the bond he made with Leefah.

"I wish to live Happily Ever After!" she shouted.

Atlas threw his hands into the air and looked into Leefah's eyes, "Is this truly what you want?"

"Yes!" she shouted.

Atlas's eyes grew pink once again and Leefah fell backwards.

She stood up to catch her breath, "Is... Is that it?..." she asked.

"Yes... I.... Am done..." he said snobbishly.

"Uh... Okay..." she said creeped out.

"And now, time to collect my soul from Chasity."

"Not so fast... You don't wanna make me unhappy do you?" she said teasingly.

Chasity began to smile.

"I understand you take orders, and my first order is that you forgive Chasity for her parents mistakes, and let her live her life. Meaning, NO SOUL FOR YOU!....." she shouted, looking over at Chasity.

"So... So I just got played again...." Atlas said looking at his feet.
"Nope, you got my soul, and Chasity is innocent. You don't wanna be a rule breaker... because that would destroy our contract..." Leefah replied.

"So HA!" yelled Chasity.
"Whatever... I wouldn't want a fairy soul anyways... With Leefah's childhood, her soul will be the perfect feast" he said, smiling devilishly.
"Well... I hope you like having a roommate too." Leefah said quickly.
