Leefah looked around as she reached the top of the hill.
"Oh dear... What a walk. I should try to work out... I wonder if the dump has any work-out machines on sale?" she asked herself.
Leefah walked through to gate and saw the magnificent town.
Leefah stopped after she noticed someone. "Hello Miss!" she said happily.
The woman looked at her then quickly walked away.
"WAIIT!!!" Leefah called out, "You can't just ignore me like everyone else here! Please!" she said starting to tear up.
The woman sighed and turned around.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Adora Almeria. I'm sorry I didn't take notice to you earlier...." said the woman.
"Its okay, Most people have some reason to look down upon me. I'm Leefah Kagyura, I just moved into the house down the hill. You know... the one across from the Supermarket/Grocery Store." said Leefah.
"I know the one.... You are actually the talk of the town..." said Adora.
"Really?... What do they say exactly?..." Leefah asked curiously.
"Well its about the ho.... it's not about you directly... It's not worth repeating actually." said Adora.
"Oh... I see...." said Leefah awkwardly.
They both stood there in silence while Adora looked around worriedly.
"So.. Listen... I haven't made any friends in this town yet... and..."
"I was wondering if you could actually help me out? I would love to have a friend to talk to other than... Well... Just a person to talk too..." Leefah said innocently.
"Oh what... Do you talk to ghosts?" said Adora jokingly.
"Ghosts don't exist anyways... so it must have been some animal? A squirrel? A Gopher? A python that could potentially swallow you in your sleep?..." said Adora.
"I'm not so sure what he..she....It is..."
"But I don't have any human friends and that's a fact..." said Leefah.
"Well sweetie, You do seem so innocent and those rumors going around cannot possibly be true."
"I mean look at you for crying out loud... Those clothes...." Adora stated as she picked at Leefah's robes.
"These are all that I have... Next to my work uniform...." Leefah replied.
"Well then our first hangout session can start tomorrow. We're going shopping for some clothes." Adora said.
"But I'm broke... I couldn't pay for any clothes..." Leefah stated sadly.
"It's fine, I'll handle everything. I gotta go now... So I'll cya later." Adora said.
Adora nodded and ran off. Leefah looked at her then at the moon, noticing it had already begun to rise.
Adora turned a corner and stopped. "So the new girl has no clue about why she's being ignored... I'm sure she'll find out soon enough."
Adora looked back at Leefah who had begun to head home, "I do feel bad for her... might aswell keep her close..." Adora then walked towards her house.
