Chapter 1 - Temporary Home

A long time ago, I didn't know what to do. As soon as I turned 18, I was forced from my house and ran. I didn't know a thing for starting a family. All I knew, is I had to Begin Again...

One day on my travels, I wandered into Monte Vista, a town growing upon a large hill. I was fortunate enough to find an abandoned house. I did believe things would get better... only they didn't. I do remember the first friend I made though.

"Hello there little guy" I asked.
The ball of light turned into a tiny human figure, it looked at me quizically.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you" I said to it.
"I believe you, I am known as a Will-o-The-Wisp. My name is Chasity" the ball said.
"I'm Leefa, Leefa Kagyura. I've been abandoned and have ended up here... what about you?" Leefa asked.
"I too was abandoned." said Chasity
"That's terrible... I think you look cute as a little ball of light. Why not stay with me. I found a house nearby." replied Leefa.
"That's very kind of you, Not many humans like to talk to me, some believe I am bad luck, some are scared I lead them to their deaths. I'm glad that you see me for what I am though." Chasity said and flew into Leefa's pants pocket.

I continued along my travels and I soon arrived at the house I had purchased, It came with a few things to get me started but not much.
"Okay Chasity... Don't laugh. I need to pick weeds and find better homes for the roaches and moths, but this is our home." Leefa explained.
"I do think it's nice of you to think of those bugs, most people stomp on the roaches or swat the moths." Chasity said.
"It's such a lovely house. I wonder why it was so cheap..." Leefa questioned.
"I didn't realize you chose this house..." Chasity muttered.
 *Leefa Entered*
"Is there something wrong with this house..." Leefa asked.
"I believe there's a counter on the inside... Would you mind putting me there." Chasity asked nicely.
 *Leefa looked around*
"Sure thing..." Leefa replied.
"I'm sure I can find some cheap furniture to place.... Well let's get you out." Leefa said. She took Chasity out of her pocket and let her float. Leefa walked over to the counter and noticed a glass case that would normally hold a butterfly. "The past owner must have left this here" Leefa thought. She picked up the case and put it on the counter, "Here. This can function as your own little house" Leefa joked.
 *Chasity flew into the case*
"It's so spacious!" Chasity yelled.
"I'm glad you like it. You look adorable." Leefa replied.
"I'm gonna look around upstairs" Leefa said.
Chasity nodded but soon fell asleep.
"What a nice room... I can make do with the bed. Maybe find some nicer covers... not ones with mold on them..."
*Leefa entered the bathroom*
"A little tight... I can barely shut the door..."
"I may need to repaint as well..."
 *Leefa exited*
 She walked down the stairs.
"I'm going out for a little bit...." Leefa said to Chasity before she realized Chasity had fallen asleep.
She ran into a little boy on her way out.
"Hello!" she said.
The little boy looked away and ran off.
"That was strange.." she thought herself.
As she walked along the road, she noticed the families she passed would turn away if she looked towards them
"Has my past actually followed me...Why is everyone looking away..." she thought.
Leefa stopped and looked over the cliff at the beautiful countryside. "This place is beautiful... It's not possible that I'm hated here too..." she said to herself.
Leefa began to tear up. "This my new life... Not my Temporary Home..." she said as a flock of birds flew overhead.
