Chapter 42- Immortals

Ezra looked at her sword, "It seems there are others here"

"Um... Okay... I'm so confused..."

"Are they allies of yours? I'd guess not considering you stopped your attack"

Ezra continued to stare at her sword, "No... I came alone..."

"But I suggest you hide"

"I have a feeling the ones who followed me here are dangerous"

"Okay wait you just tried to kill us.. who's side are you on?" Chasity asked confused.

"I don't pick sides..." Ezra said, looking away.

Chasity stepped forwards, "Alright... Well.. I mean it wouldn't hurt to hide..."

"We'll each take a different floor"CHAD suggested.
"Okay, you two take the top floors"

Ezra looked at her sword, "Something used to slay demons and here I am not putting it to use..."

"I'm going soft...."

"Sisters, It seems they've gone off to hide"

"We are here under strict orders..."

"The masked man is counting on me, I mustn't fail him"

"Sister Emerald, You realize this is a team effort don't you?...."

"Pssh... Team... Yeah... Whatever..." Emerald replied, rolling her eyes.
"Perhaps we should split up?" Sapphire asked.

"I can handle the top floor..." Emerald said, "We all should realize that the most scared always hide on the top floor" she muttered.

"I'll take this floor then, I'm sure we can get the job done in a few minutes"

"Don't get cocky now sis, The blond with long hair is a demon slayer"

"Yeah but the other two are a bunch of cowards. One fairy and one... Metal Human?"

Ezra listened in from her hiding spot, "Just my luck... Trying to do a dang job and these creeps interrupt me...."

CHAD looked around on the second floor, "I'll hide in one of these rooms okay?"

Chasity nodded as she reached the top floor.

She whispered back to CHAD, "Be careful okay?"

"Alright team, Move out" Sapphire commanded.
"Say please at least?" asked Emerald snobbishly.

"Just go you two" Ruby said, heading off for the living room.

Suddenly the TV flipped on.

Ezra panicked and quickly clicked it off, "F*ck!"

Ruby started to open the door but it was locked.

Ezra looked back and quickly dove onto the ground.

Ruby kicked down the door and entered.

She looked around the room.

"I heard the TV go on and off, I know youre here..."

Ezra moved her foot and knocked over a vase, "Sh*t!"

"Oh my god just come out..."

Ezra stood up from behind the couch.

"Oh hello.... Did you need something?"

Ruby looked at her, "Wow, So I got you after all?.... I am the strongest"

"I'm sorry... Have we met?""

"No, But I know everything I need to know about you... Including the evil you carry upon your waist"

Ezra clutched one of her guns.

"I carry the sword of the one who killed my father... Is that a crime?"

Ruby looked closer at her.

"You honestly expect me to see you as good? You are definitely not if you insist upon hunting down living beings and killing them"

Ezra rolled her eyes.

"I'm taking the lives of nonliving beings, Hunting people is a side job"

She looked out the window as the sky began to poor.

"Alright, you wanted the third floor... right sister?" Sapphire asked.

"Sure, I'm sure I'll have an easier time"

CHAD stood behind a door and listened.

"Oh crap...They gotta be getting close..."

"Maybe I can squeeze under the bed?'

Sapphire  kicked the door open.

"Is anyone in here?"

CHAD fell silent.

Sapphire rubbed her eyes, "Its so dark..."

She turned around and saw CHAD.

'"HHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

'"HHHHHHHHH!!!! WHY ARE WE SCREAMING!!!"

"You the scared the crap outta me!"

"Well you're the one who started screaming!"

Sapphire cleared her throat, "Ehh... You're the metal man right?"

"I'm a plumbot...."

CHAD looked around awkwardly.

"I um.... I don't really fight... A lot..."

"Whoa really? We're like twinsies!"

"You're one of those triplet girls we saw earlier right?.... Do... Do they treat you like crap sometimes?"

"Yeah, I take the blunt of all the jokes... I'm used to it by now though... Why do you ask?"

"Well... I just... I can't help but feel like the odd man out of my friend circle..."

"Oh wow... I'm sorry to hear that..." Sapphire said comfortingly.

Chasity stood behind a wall and held her breath.

She perked up once she heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Huh...... The candles are lit....."

"Looks like whoever's up here is a dumbass, didn't even bother to blow out the lights"

Chasity rolled her eyes.

Emerald entered the room.

"Hmm... This mirror is so big...."

"I didn't even know I had a pimple there..."

Emerald picked at her pimple.

"ugh.... That feels better"

"Does she even see me....." Chasity muttered.

"Literally... not even a word..."

"OH MY GOD!"

Chasity began to gather her magic and fire.

Emerald shot her arms out.

"Look at those hips baby!"

"Damn, I look good"

Chasity slammed her arms to her side, "Unbelievable"

"I'm so out of here" Chasity yelled.
Emerald turned around, "Oh look, The butterfly's mad because she didn't get her attention?"

Chasity stopped walking.

"What did you call me?"

"Butterfly, Like your stupid sparkly girly wings. Ugh, you make me wanna puke"

Chasity gritted her teeth.

Emerald shot her a mean glare, "What? Shouldn't you be full of rage and attacking me?... Or do I gotta offend your friends? Like that demon guy"

"Pssh, Atlas? I could care less..."

Emerald looked around.

"Who do you think you're fooling? You're whole group of friends is just a bunch of liars. You are all so bad at it"

"Excuse me?"

"Secrets, butterfly. All you people have doing is keeping secrets. Like your gal pal, the hipster looking one? She's only here to write a story, and it's putting her in danger. That Demon? He's been lying to you for.."

"Stop talking!" Chasity shouted, interrupting her.

She looked down, "I... I can't take you seriously if you wear an outfit like that when you literally have no chest to show off"

"I was gonna take it easy, but there you go offending my chest..."

"Well you can't help it can you? Not like implants can help"

Emerald grew angrier.

"Well fine, If you insist on pissing me off...."

"Bring it on!" Chasity screamed.

Emerald dug her feet into the ground and shot off at Chasity.

"Fine!!" she shouted angrily.

The sky began to lighten up.

"Wow, It's the devils sun!"

"Devils sun?"

"You know... when it rains and it's still sunny. Its like a myth?"

Tophet looked at them, "That's not true...."

Leefah and Atlas screamed at the sight of her.

"That isn't true, The devil's sun is something else entirely...."

"But... Your luck has run out I'm afraid...."

"Why is she talking really creepy.... her eyes are intense..." Atlas joked.

"It's like she can see our souls...."

"Can you like... stop staring at us like that?"

"I..... I......"

"Can you just die?"

"Real original...."

"I'd rather live if you asked me"

"I just didn't ask you alright"

Tophet put away her umbrella.

She began gathering energy in her hands and began to summon her knives.

"I haven't used these in quite a while"

Leefah looked at her and backed away.

Tophet then shot her knives into the air.

Leefah narrowly dodged them as they came flying down around her.

Then she stopped at Joker appearing in front of her.

"There you are!!"

"We have... been waiting!"

"We've been busy doing something else!"

"But we come first, Because I'm just that great... my love.. ER, Enemy...."

"You called her your love... I heard it..."

"Shut up!" Tophet screamed readying her knives.

Joker shot his cards at Leefah.

Leefah waved her wand and caused the cards to explode.

"Ha! I did it!"

"Lucky freaking shot!" Joker said looking away.

"But you can't hit something floating!.... can you?...." Joker asked, raising himself into the air.

Leefah cast another spell.

Joker twirled in the air and dodged her attacks, "Magnificent my dear."

Leefah drew a magic circle around Joker.

"Gravity Field!" Leefah called, sending Joker stumbling onto the ground.

Joker looked up at her.

"You little wench..."

"I was being nice and called you magnificent and everything!"

Leefah looked at him, "I don't care what you call me..."

"You're still evil!"

Leefah began to draw magic runes the same as Angel, and shot them at Joker.

The letters sliced along his skin, barely cutting him.

"Well that really hurt you know!"

"That was kind of the point..."

Leefah gathered another ball of energy and began to cast her Comet Shot spell.

Joker looked at her and braced for her attack.

Angel's eyes twitched and slowly began to open.

"HA! LOOK AT THIS DEMON BOY! LOOK AT IT!!"

"This is so creepy... you won't even hit me..."

"A true lady never makes the first attack!"

Joker suddenly became enveloped in a pink gas.

"Oh... well... this.... is bad..."

"Its slowing your movement! Now you can't..."

"VIOLA!" Joker shouted interrupting her.

"Look at this flowers, nice right?" Joker taunted.

"OH HELL NO!"

Leefah stopped and looked at the flowers, "You shouldn't have Joker..." she said blushing.

Suddenly, the flowers exploded and fell to the ground.

"I didn't...."

Leefah grit her teeth, "I am a lady who likes flowers and that was just mean!" she cast another spell but missed.

Tophet stumbled and fell onto the ground.

She stood up and looked at Atlas, "Excuse me, I need to chat with my love... Not you... My other love..."

"Okay, whatever..."

"JOKER MY LOVE! WHAT THE HELL!"

Joker looked around.

"What... What did I do..."

"I'll give you some privacy..."

"You don't just give some ugly girl your flowers! I'm your wife!"

"I'm not ugly.... I'm not... I'm not.." Leefah said, beginning to cry.

"I was just trying to get her to stop attacking, sheesh"

"No, no you know what! I want to talk about feelings!"

"RIGHT NOW?!"

"Yes my love, there is no better time than the present... or something like that..."

Angel rolled over and started moaning.

"You okay Atlas?"

He closed his eyes.

"She literally just stood here and made these weird poses.... I didn't even do anything..."

"Ezra just updated her twitter. She said those odd women we saw earlier today are at the mansion where the girl and demon are staying."

"UM! I'm TALKING TO YOU MY LOVE!"

"Wait.. what?.... My love I'm not following you...."

Angel stood up dizzily.

"It seems the plan has begun..."

Atlas looked at his phone as well, "He's right, Chasity has been posting nonstop for the past ten minutes about how she's confused and that the world she lives in is a lie... this is so deep..."

"She always gets those retweets and I'm not at all surprised by it."

"She claims that she can handle the situation, but that the girl and demon should know that their friends are in danger..."

"We're bad guys We don't just"

Leefah butted in, "What do you mean Chasity is in danger!"

"Well you see, It seems your vacation place house area.... thing... is under attack by a triage of insane girls dressed in super suits"

"We are bad guys, that's like... crossing the line.. my love.."

"I've gotta go! Come on Atlas!"

"Right, I'm coming!"

"Perhaps we should go? My dear, Ezra is what common folk would call... our pal?"

"Great, all the help we can get the better!" Leefah said, trying to ally with Tophet and Joker.

Angel flicked her hair, "Stop! Right... this... instant..."

Leefah looked over angrily. "What now?! My best friend is in danger!"
"Who the hell is that my love?" Tophet whispered to Joker.

"Why won't you just leave!"

"I'm afraid that just isn't possible..."

"And I'm afraid by the time you do arrive back at the mansion...."

"Your friends will be dead!" Angel said before laughing maniacally.

"What! No!"

"You mean to tell us that Ezra is trapped in a mansion full of idiots and psychotic killers...."

Joker lowered his head, "Technically she is stuck spending her time with two idiot psychotic killers...."

Leefah closed her eyes, "Okay.. think Leefah...."

"I just want to say, I love your dress! What's your name?"

"Thank you... my name is Angel Nyx... I'm here to kill Leefah Kagyura and her friends"

"Fascinating!" Tophet replied.

"Can everyone just leave me alone for a second! I have a life I would love to live but people keep cutting in and causing a mess! I got stuck dealing with problems that were even out of my time!"

"I honestly don't care"

Atlas slid in front of Leefah and held out his sword.

"I actually happen to care... a little... and I'm afraid I won't let you harm her!"

"Why can't you be like him my love?" Tophet said, staring dreamily at Atlas.

"Well you never let me hold your sword so I don't see how..."

Angel smirked.

"Fine, I'll kill you both at the same time!"

"Fire Arena!!" Angel shouted, sending out a ball of fire at everyones feet.

Atlas glared at Angel, "Put out the fire, I'll deal with her!"

"I... She's so.... She's so...."

"Flawless? Beautiful?"

"I know darling..."

Tophet grew angry, "She's so...." Tophet took out an extringuisher and began putting the flames out.

Leefah tripped and fell out of the way.

"Ah! Okay, I'm going this way!"

"My love! Do something!.... I mean..."

"Okay so maybe I have a little bit of a heart... But my love that woman... she's so...."

"It's okay my love... No need to be this way..."

Atlas jumped out of the flames and shot at Angel.

"Just deal with the fire you losers!"

Tophet looked at Leefah, "I can't believe I'm asking you this...."

"Look girl, our job is to bring you back and all... but we can't do that if youre dead... so... ugh.... Can you help with the fire!"

"And her heart grew three sizes that day..." Leefah muttered.

Leefah nodded and smiled, "Fine! But only if you help us deal with the problems at the mansion!"

"Fine! Now put it out little girl!"

Leefah waved her wand, "If I freeze it...."

Tophet looked at the extinguisher, "It won't go!" She shouted as it suddenly shot out a white mist from it.

"Quick, hurry up now!"

"Icy Terrain!" Leefah shouted, spreading out icy sparks along the fire.

Tophet gripped the extinguisher, "Why aren't you helping me my love?!"

"You look so beautiful against the flames my dear... wouldn't want to ruin your image?"

"Look! The fire's going down..."

Tophet looked around, "Now then... As I was saying... that woman is just so cocky! Thinking she can beat the girl and demon..."

"Alright girl, we'll help you this once"

Leefah smiled, "Awesome!"

Angel cast her spells at Atlas as he slashed at her.

"Well what are you waiting for!" he called back.

"But just know this is only temporary..."

"Fine... I didn't expect to become your friend or anything.."

"We are only doing this to help out Ezra... our dear... friend?.... acquaintance?... Travel Buddy!"

Angel began blowing out a pink smoke from her wand.

"Looks like you're out of luck demon boy..."

"okay then, let's go!" Leefah agreed, gripping her wand.

Tophet and Joker both nodded.

Tophet opened her hand and summoned her flame baton.

"Now then..." Joker started and looked at Tophet.
"Let the show begin!" Joker and Tophet said in unison.
